Procmail is a mail filtering program which is quite powerful for processing emails.  While it cannot be used for filtering your incoming mail here (see [[Websieve]] for that), it can be used in conjunction with [[Fetchmail]], for example, to process messages in other ways.

PLEASE NOTE that as of March 22, 2003, Procmail is no longer used for filtering your incoming mail; instead, use Sieve scripts. Websieve, which is a very intuitive frontend for writing Sieve scripts, is available at http://mail.astro.princeton.edu.
